As an educator, I've learned that no one person has all the answers. Finding conditions and systems for success depends on our willingness to connect with and learn from one another. For the sake of every child we work with, it's imperative that we are relentless in our pursuit to find what works for every individual.
Speaking with and learning from others in education has become a valued part of my practice. I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to speak several places, and welcome new opportunities.

Working with Children Affected by Trauma: Strategies for Enrichment Providers
Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University
"Your presentation was just wonderful! The guides told me that this was the very best training they had attended. You addressed so many issues that come up for the guides and laid out ways to respond positively and calmly to children who need help to take part in our programs. The modelling for the guides gave everyone a way to understand approaches that are direct, caring, and non-punitive."
